William H Cole III

William Harvey Cole ("Bill") passed away on April 11, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose life centered around the people he loved most. He is survived by his beloved wife, Janice Cole; his children, Jessica and Paul Johannesen, Melissa and Michael Guazzo, and William ("Bill") and Jessica Cole; his sister, Sandra Schmidt, and her husband, Daniel; and his cherished grandchildren, Connor, Kayla, Michael, Lucas, Wren, and Spencer. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Eleanor Cole.

Raised in Oakland, New Jersey, Bill served his country during the Vietnam War. After his service, he dedicated himself to his craft, working in the family business before going on to build his own welding and fabrication company. He was a skilled builder and creator, always working on a project and finding joy in making something with his hands.

Bill had a deep love for life's simple pleasures. Whether he was boating or golfing, he was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. He was especially known for his famous baked stuffed clams and gravy for the turkey-a holiday tradition that brought everyone together year after year.

Bill will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his warmth, his craftsmanship, and his unwavering love for his family.
