Theresa Marie Trapani, age 96, passed away on January 20 th. She was born in the Bronx, New York. Theresa was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Trapani and the beloved daughter of Vincenza and Vincent Macri. She is survived by her daughter Barbara and her dearest grandchildren Jason and Jennifer and great grandchildren Hanna, Lucas, Nicholas and Olivia. Theresa was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her child and embraced every moment with her. She especially loved her role as nanny and grand nanny. She had a vivacious way of viewing life. Theresa lived most of her life in Oakland, New Jersey and was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Oakland New Jersey. Her life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another just as God also forgave you in Christ" A Funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 117 Franklin Ave, Oakland NJ. Interment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ.
