Smith, Ruth M. (Wood) age 95 of Oakland, NJ on April 18, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, NY and a resident of Oakland for more than 70 years. Ruth worked as a Clerk for the Oakland Post Office retiring in 1976 after 35 years of service. Loving wife of the late Denis F. Smith (1970), Predeceased by her Brother John "Jack" Wood, sister Ronnie Krams, and sister Patricia Zuk. Devoted grandmother of Deborah Brown and her husband Mark, Patricia Romain and John Romain. Great-grandmother of Nicole Brown, Jacob Romain and Brianna Romain and many nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews and cousins. Funeral Liturgy Tuesday April 23 at 9:30 am, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help R. C. Church 117 Franklin Avenue Oakland, NJ. Burial to follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Butler, NJ.
