In Loving Memory of Ruth Andrea Puccia

June 6 ^th , 1930-August 2 ^nd , 2025

Ruth Andrea Puccia nee Jacobsen left us on Saturday August 2 ^nd , 2025. She was in the company of her loving son Bruce Cipriani, who took care of her as she aged for many years along with his loving wife Tish. Ruth was born and raised in Ramsey NJ along with her sister Lillian Jacobsen and her brother Howard Jacobsen, also known as Aunt Mae and Uncle Jake. She then raised her three children, Joyce, Bruce, and Janet, in a house on the same street that she herself grew up on.

Ruth was a diehard fan of baseball and was often known to be at Yankee Stadium with Bruce and family. She thoroughly enjoyed seeing them last year accompanied by members of her family to celebrate her 94 ^th birthday. Seeing her birthday wishes along with her picture on the jumbotron was an added treat.

Ruth is survived by her brother Howard Jacobsen, her three children, Joyce Theodore, Bruce Cipriani (Tish Cipriani) and Janet Cipriani (Stu Fisher), along with her grandchildren, Christine Theodore (Tom Amicucci), Michael Theodore, Alyssa Wright (Mike Kave), Brandon Wright, Emily Cipriani, Casey Cipriani, and Mackenzie Cipriani. Her great grandchildren, Logan Kave, Marcella Theodore-Amicucci, and Cecilia Theodore-Amicucci.

She was predeceased by her parents Howard and Lillian Jacobsen, her husband Sam Puccia, and her sister Lillian Mae Jacobsen.

Funeral arrangements will be at Oakland Memorial Home on Friday August 8 ^th at 10:00am with interment to follow at Redeemer Cemetery in Mahwah NJ.
