Ruth E. Harvey passed away May 2, 2025 at the age of 97. She was born in Hazleton, Pa. and lived in Oakland for 55 years. She is predeceased by her loving husband and childhood sweetheart, Harold G. Harvey. And three sisters Ida Cook, Mae Underwood, and Janet Dietrich.
Ruth is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ruth & Lou Gamberale and son William Harvey & husband Peter Gauvin.
Prior to moving to NJ, she was a buyer for Deisroth's Department Store.
Some of her favorite things were dogs, ice cream, Victoria's Candies, and Las Vegas.
Family was everything to Ruth. She loved spending time with all of her relatives. She had a kind heart and would do anything for her family.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
