We are deeply saddened to announce that Russell Ritter, aged 62, passed away on April 22, 2020, after a long illness. Russ, a resident of Oakland, NJ was born in Franklin Lakes, NJ, one of 5 sons, to Harold and Viola Ritter, both deceased. Russ was a kind, caring and loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a nursery salesman for the last twenty years and always willing to lend a hand to others. He is survived by brothers, Bob, of Campton, NH, James, of Stockholm, NJ, Dave of Oak Ridge, NJ, and John of West Milford, NJ. He is also survived by nieces, Shannon and Kim and nephews, Jamie, Greg, Matt, Christopher, Travis and Justin. Numerous great-nieces and great-nephews also survive him. This is a great loss to our family and Russ will be missed forever. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a memorial service will be held for the family at a later date.
