Moris, Robert E. 86, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday May 11th, 2016. Born in Bloomington Wisconsin, June 12th 1929. He was a resident of Oakland for over 30 years before moving to Mahwah in 2000. He proudly served in the U.S. navy during the Korean War. Bob was the owner of Remco Overhead Crane Inc. He is survived by his beloved wife Jane Moris (nee Ward) of 61 years, daughter Susan Desotle and her husband George, Son Robert Moris and his wife Laurie, daughter Carol Krass and husband Mark, and daughter Pamela Moris of Canada, 10 grandchildren, 4 great granddaughters and one great grandson on the way. Bob's greatest joys were gardening, fishing, baking, and most of all his grandchildren. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the Oakland Memorial Home on Monday, May 16th between 2-4 and 7-9. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday May 17, 2016, at 10 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mahwah. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob's memory may be made to St. Jude's Foundation.
