Rockmacher, Rebecca "Becky" of Oakland, NJ passed peacefully on April 4th, 2013, in her sleep, at the Age of 94 with Elaine and Jonathan by her side. She had a cheerful, high spirited outlook on everything and was adored by many... always with a kind word and a smile. Rebecca was born March 31st 1919, in Manhattan New York. She lived by the loves of her life Leon, Manfred and Pat. She worked at family circle magazine for most of her life, from which she retired. Enjoying her life to the fullest dancing her heart away. She also thoroughly enjoyed Reading spending a lot of her time at the library. Her loving daughter & grandson, Elaine & Jonathan Sanfilippo devoted themselves to her extraordinary care. She is also survived by her Sister Ann and husband Metty Kavadlo, and many loving nieces and nephews. She will always be in our thoughts & heart as such a very special lady... Rest in Peace, with much love... Funeral arrangements are set for Sunday April 7, 2013 at 10:30 am at Oakland Memorial home 330 Ramapo Valley Road Oakland New Jersey. Burial will be at the Beth David Cemetery, Elmont NY at 2pm. Shiva will take place at the family's home at 5pm on Sunday.
