Mercedes Acacia Rosales

Mercedes Acacia Rosales, 48, of New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly March 22, 2026.

Mercedes was a woman of strength, and generosity. Her greatest joys in life were her children, Jayden Rose and Eli Jax, they were the center of her world. She loved fiercely and selflessly, always putting her family first and creating an environment filled with laughter and love.

She had the biggest heart and was the kind of person who showed up without hesitation whenever someone needed help.

New York Rangers hockey, cooking and music were among her favorite past times.

She is survived by her beloved husband and best friend, Mauricio, and their two children, Jayden Rose and Eli Jax. Their bond as a family was something truly special; they were not only a family, but each other's closest friends and biggest supporters.

Mercedes is also survived by her loving parents, Terri and Steven Lukanik; her siblings, Tami and her wife Patsy, Joseph and his wife Teresa, Demita and her husband Maynor, Stevie and her husband Tom, and her brother Rob. She was a cherished aunt to all of her nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart. A cherished friend to all who had the privilege to know her.

Services will be held at Oakland Memorial home on Sunday March 29 from 11am to 2pm
