Martin Van Dyk passed away on March 10, 2025 at the age of 84 in Hackensack, NJ.

Martin was born on November 10, 1940, in Paterson, NJ to Agnes and Nicholas Van Dyk. He grew up in Fair Lawn, NJ and attended Fair Lawn High School.  He lived most of his adult life in Hackensack.

Martin is survived by his sister, Jean Potash of Franklin Lakes.  He is also survived by his nieces Wendy Wilson and Linda Marchese, and nephews Tom Potash and Jim Potash.  He is predeceased by his brother-in-law Ed Potash, who mentored and guided Marty for most of his life.

Visitation will be held at the Oakland Memorial Home on Saturday, March 15 from 10 AM to 11 AM, followed by a burial service at Fair Lawn Cemetery.
