Margaret Shassler Piliere, 86 passed away October 17, 2018 peacefully with family by her side. Marge was born 1932 in Stony Point NY to Alex Schassler and Margaret Harlow. Marge and her husband Ronald Piliere raised their six children in Wayne, New Jersey. She discovered her passion was caring for children with disabilities and dedicated her career as a teacher assistant in a special education classroom for over 20 years until an accident forced her into retirement. The accident left her unable to walk and combined with a paralyzed arm. She lived in lingering pain yet never stopped sharing her smile and positive outlook to everyone she met. Confined to a wheelchair partially paralyzed in her early 80's she found a new passion to be painting. She spent her remaining years creating beautiful works of art and inspired all who knew her, there are no limits to what a person can achieve. Marge was predeceased by her husband, Ronald and daughter, Rhonda. She is survived by her children, Margaret (Peggy), Alexis, Frank and his wife Kelli, Matt, and Rocco, grandchildren Nick, Alex, Tim and his wife Allison, Kiera, Ben, Corey, Krista, Matthew, Sarah, and Ashley and her great grandchild, Naomi.
