Lillian S Higgins

Lillian S. Higgins, born on July 13, 1933, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2026, at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Higgins Sr., with whom she shared a life filled with love and cherished memories.

A devoted homemaker and Catholic, Lillian dedicated her life to her family and her faith. Her relationship with God and her church community were central to her life, and she cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family and those closest to her held a special place in her heart.

Lillian is survived by her sons, Michael Higgins and his wife, Ann Higgins, and Timothy Higgins and his wife, Sally Field. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Higgins Sr., and her son, Patrick Higgins. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Sarah LaSpina and her husband, Stephen LaSpina; her grandson, Sean Higgins and his wife, Amanda Higgins; and her great-grandchildren, Daniela LaSpina, Giuliana LaSpina, Stephen LaSpina III, and Evie Higgins, who will carry her memory in their hearts.

A Catholic Mass celebrating Lillian's life will be held on November 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Oakland, New Jersey.
