Norton, Joseph J. 80, of Ringwood, New Jersey. Formally of the Bronx New York. Passed away October 18, 2015. Joseph passed away at his home in Ringwood NJ. He is survived by his wife Patricia Norton of Ringwood and His loving daughters Eileen Norton-Russo of West Milford, New Jersey, and Mary Norton-Gibson of Mechanicsville, Maryland. He is predeceased by his son Joseph A Norton and his daughter Patricia Skinker. He is also survived by his four beloved grandchildren, Robert Russo of West Milford NJ, Brenden Norton, Ryan Norton, and Lauren Norton all of Phoenix Arizona. He was New York City fireman for 32 years. He retired in 1991 from 95 truck ladder 36 Bronx New York. In lieu of flowers donations are requested in his memory to the Erskine Lakes firehouse Ringwood New Jersey, or the New York City burn Center. Friends and family can visit the Oakland Memorial home 330 Ramapo Valley Road Oakland, New Jersey on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Liturgy at St. Catherine's R.C. Church 112 Erskine Road Ringwood, New Jersey at 10 AM on Saturday. Burial will follow at Christ the King Cemetery Franklin Lakes, NJ. He will be greatly missed.
