Joseph Anthony Grande, 71, of Oakland, NJ, passed away on March 2, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Frank Grande and Rosalie Grande. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Oakland. During his early career, he worked in the grocery industry for the Grand Union Company and then for ShopRite Supermarkets until his retirement in 2012. Joseph will be remembered as an avid American History and Major League Baseball enthusiast. He loved spending time with family and sharing past Italian heritage memories, especially with his nephews. Joseph is survived by his mother Rosalie, his sister carol and brother-in-law Gerhard Lindenmayer, nephews Justin and Derek Lindenmayer and Justin's wife, Nicole.
