OAKLAND, NJ - Jon, 68, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025. He was born on May 8, 1957 at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ, to Thomas and Ann Beccari. Jon grew up in Waldwick before moving to Lake Wallkill, where he graduated from Franklin High School in 1974. It was there he built friendships that would last a lifetime.

Jon worked as a car salesman most of his life with Chevrolet. He had a great enthusiasm for music having been an avid follower of the Grateful Dead since his 20s. His other passions included all New York sports including New York Yankees baseball, New York Giants football and New York Rangers hockey.

Jon is survived by his wife Dorothy Beccari and their two daughters Stephanie Beccari, Megan Rappa, and his son-in-law Anthony Rappa, his father Thomas Beccari along with his brothers Tom Beccari and Rich Beccari. He also leaves behind his furry companion, Lucy.

A memorial service for Jon will be held from 1-3 PM on Friday, September 12 at The Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland NJ. Those who wish to remember Jon in a special way may make gifts in his memory to the CarePlus NJ Foundation or the Oakland First Aid Squad.
