Manning, Johanna (nee Kiefer) age 90 of Barnegat New Jersey, passed away on January 5, 2013 she died peacefully in her sleep. The funeral service will be held at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery 11:00 on January 10, 2013 Reverend John Mauro will be officiating. Burial will follow immediately after the funeral at the William C. Doyle Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Oakland Memorial Home Oakland NJ. Johanna was born in Germany August 18, 1922 She] graduated from Long Island City High School and continued on to receive a professional course study from the American Banking Institute. Johanna was married to William P Manning in June 1942; they were married for 65 years of years prior to his passing. Johanna loved and treasured her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren Johanna is survived by her children, grand children and great grandchildren. Her daughters Maureen Vertetis of Aiken, South Carolina, Corrine Lill of Oakland N.J her son William Manning of Bordentown N.J. Grand children Michael, Lill, Ryan Lill, Thomas B. Vertetis, Kimberly Manning, Trina Mattek. Great grandchildren Peter, Mary, Glorian Vertetis, Landon Lill, Ryan and Bella Mattek. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to American Heart Association.
