Joan M. Tarantino, 93, of Oakland, NJ went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 2, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Paul Tarantino. Devoted mother of Daniel and wife, Marcia, of Port Saint Lucie, FL, and Jill Dedrick and her husband, Anthony, of Oakland. Cherished grandmother of Tyler Dedrick, Timothy and Nicole Dedrick, Elyse and Sean McDaniel, Andrew Tarantino, and Travis and Courtney Dedrick. Adored great grandmother of Gavin Dedrick. Dear sister to Ruth and Herb Raab. Joan was a registered nurse for over 40 years. She was the head nurse in the NICU at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. A longtime member of Valley Chapel in Clifton, she most recently worshipped at Cornerstone Christian Church in Wyckoff. Family and friends invited to visit on Tuesday, August 7 from 3-7 PM at Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Road Oakland, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 8 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa
