Dr. Jerry Silver MD recently passed away Tuesday April 27th at the age of 86 with his wife Karen and son Daniel by his side. He was a graduate of the University of Toronto Medical School in 1959 and after serving in the US Army completed his ENT residency at Mt Sinai Hospital in New York. He retired from practice at the age of 81 after serving the medical community for more than 40 years. He was a caring physician who made certain his patients were treated with respect and always gave the best care that he could give them. He departed loved by his family, friends, and colleagues. Services were private. Donations in his name can be sent to the Valley Hospital Foundation in Ridgewood, NJ where he was on staff for more than 40 years.
