Favaro James "Jimmy", 59 of Oakland, formerly of Emerson, passed away suddenly Saturday May 16. He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Janet (nee Dvorovy), his two children Matthew and Olivia, his brother Elmer and his wife Teri of Sparta, his sister Ellen and her husband Steve of Blauvelt, NY. Jimmy will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jimmy was sole proprietor of Favaro Hardwood Floors for over 25 years. He was a hardworking man driven by his immeasurable love for his family and friends. Wherever he went friendships and memories were made. He was a passionate, lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed sailing with his friends from the Awosting Yacht Squadron, playing golf and most of all, Jimmy loved spending time with his family on Cape Cod. Family will receive friends on Tuesday May 19, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ. Funeral Service will be Wednesday May 20th, 11am at Ponds Reformed Church 241 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ.
