On June 16, 2017 James L. Cotter, after an extended illness departed this life. He is survived by his loving wife Gina, sons James & Kevin. Mother Regina, brothers Mickey and Billy and preceded in death by his father Maurice. He will be missed by so many that have met him during his life with us. Jim was best known for his witty and fun natured personality, he was an avid sports fan and enjoyed teaching and watching his boys play football, baseball and wrestling. A service will be held on Monday June 19, 2017 at Oakland funeral home from 4 to 8pm for all who wish to attend. A Mass will follow on Tuesday June 20, 2017 at St. Mary's in Pompton Lakes, NJ beginning at 11am. Following mass we will celebrate Jim at their home on 40 Henderson Court Pompton Lakes NJ.
