Obituary

Elizabeth Rose "Boop" Meyer (Lembo) returned home to heaven peacefully on July 2, 2015 in Oakland, NJ at the age of 87. Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Thomas Meyer; 2 daughters, Rosemarie and Sandy, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 siblings, Carl Lembo and Catherine Sampson. She is preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Carl Lembo, 2 sons, Dennis Meyer and Thomas Meyer, Jr; and grandson, Tyler Megin. Elizabeth was born on August 27th, 1927 in Paterson, NJ to Mr. & Mrs. Carl Lembo. She married Thomas Meyer in 1954. After moving to Oakland, NJ, Thomas and Elizabeth became business owners for the passion in life of landscaping design and agriculture. The couple welcomed 4 children into their lives. Her children remember her as a kind loving, spiritual and beautiful mother who encouraged them to pursue their dreams. She was a dedicated member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Visitation services will be held at Oakland Memorial Home on Friday, July 10th from 2-4 & 7-9. Father Lipnicki will officiate a ceremony at the Oakland Memorial Home on Saturday, July 11th at 10:00 am followed by the burial at George Washington Memorial, Paramus, NJ. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Elizabeth Rose Meyer's life.
