Van Ness, Edward S. 86 of Pompton Lakes, NJ passed away on December 30, 2014. Loving husband of the late Ann (1963) and Rose (1998). Devoted father of Cathy Van Ness, Diane Karpilo, Nick Van Ness and his wife Kristine, and the late Edward Van Ness (1963). Cherished grandfather of Ryan Karpilo and his wife Rachael, Vanessa Jaramillo and her husband Jason, Nicholas Van Ness, Julia Van Ness and Kileigh Van Ness and great-grandfather of Nathaniel Jaramillo and Maria Jaramillo. Caring brother of Beulah Selsor and sister-in-law Fran Salmanowitz. Funeral service on Monday January 5th, 2015 at 9:30 AM at the Oakland Memorial Home 330 Ramapo Valley Road Oakland, NJ. Followed by a burial at Christ the King Cemetery, 980 Huron Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday January 4, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
