Steuerman, David D. age 89, of Freehold, NJ formally of Oakland, NJ on May 1, 2014. David served in the US army as a Staff Sergeant during WW II. David was also man of the year of Oakland, president of Oakland Chamber of Commerce, treasure of the Oakland Republican Club, founding member of the Oakland Jewish Center, Knights of a Phtsisis and was instrumental in ascertaining the funds for the Oakland Senior Center. David is a graduated CCNY with a Bachelor of Accounting and LIU Jurist Doctorate. He retired as a CPA in 1987.Son of the late Isidore and Sadie (nee Rudifer) Steuerman. Loving Husband of the late Sue Ann Steuerman (1997). Devoted father of Scott Steuerman and his wife Rosemarie, Craig I. Steuerman and Tom Indeglia, predeceased by his daughter Donna Rae Steuerman (2005). Cherished grandfather of Marc Andrew and Brian Adam. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday May 6, 2014 at 10 AM at the Oakland Memorial Home 330 Ramapo Valley Road (Rt.202) Oakland, New Jersey. Followed by a burial at King Solomon Cemetery Clifton, NJ. Family and friends can visit on Monday May 5, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
