Claire Friedman, 64, of Pompton Lakes, NJ passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Claire leaves behind mother Estelle Friedman , her sister, Paula Scoppetta, brother in law Michael Scoppetta, nephew Daniel Scoppetta & fiancé Christina Basiakos. She was employed with Cablevision for twelve years as a Senior Construction Dept. Coordinator. Claire had battled cancer for the last several years. Her strong will and courage to fight was admired by all. Claire was loved by many friends, family and extended family. She always loved to see people smile and loved just laughing and having a good old time. Claire always knew how to liven up the room with her upbeat personality. Claire had a talent for make-up artistry and a passion for shopping. She spent a lot of time caring for her mother Estelle with great compassion in her later years. Claire was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed greatly by all of her loved ones, but never forgotten. Always know we will love you and keep you in our hearts forever.
