Charlotte A. Reynolds (nee Donovan), 83, of Oakland, passed away on April 21, 2019 in her home of over 50 years.

She was the loving wife of Frank for over 58 years, a devoted mother to Francis (deceased), Gene and his wife Eileen (Scotch Plains), Patty Moody and her husband Mike (Bridgewater), Steve and his wife Kim (Pequannock), Mike and his wife Michelle (Waldwick), and Joe and his wife Allison (Wayne), a beloved Nana to twelve grandchildren (Patrick, Bridget, Sarah, Allison, Michael, Ryan, Molly, Delaney, Jillian, Emerson, Olivia, and Isabelle), a devoted sister to Mickey (Kathleen) Cassara (Charlotte, NC) and to Pat (Patricia) Reynolds (Manlius, NY), and aunt to many nieces and nephews.  She will be missed by her family, friends, and neighbors.  Charlotte was a parishioner at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) since moving to Oakland from the Bronx in 1969.  She was a dedicated Eucharistic Minister, Sunday School teacher, and a member of the prayer group (all at OLPH).

Charlotte was born in New York City, to the late Kathleen (nee Day) and Richard Donovan.  She had many fond memories of growing up in Greenwich Village.  She graduated from Cathedral High School and attended Pace University.  She met her husband Frank while they both worked for the Paulist Press.  Before and after retirement, Charlotte and Frank traveled to the Villages in Florida, and visited Europe, Alaska, the Caribbean, and Mexico.

Visitation will be at 2-4 PM and from 7-9 PM on Friday April 26th at the Oakland Funeral Home at 330 Ramapo Valley Rd, Oakland, NJ 07436.  A funeral Mass  will be offered at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 10 AM on April 27th at 117 Franklin Avenue Franklin Lakes, NJ 07436.  Burial will be after the Mass at Maryrest Cemetery, 770 Darlington Avenue, Mahwah, NJ 07430. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in lieu of flowers.  More information can be found at https://oaklandmemorial.com
