Cecelia C. Alway, 62, of Oakland, NJ, passed away on Friday,September 30th. She was pre-deceased by her parents Florence Catti and Alfred Catti. She was survived by her beloved husband Robert Alway and their daughter Nancy Alway. She also was survived by her brother, Alfred Catti. Family was very important to Cecelia and she always made time for those sheheld dear, and she was loved immensely. She never missed anyone's birthday,anniversary, or life events. She was happily married for thirty-six years, toher soul mate. She became a homemaker after the birth of her daughter Nancy,who was the apple of her eye, and her very best friend. She loved going tobingo and tricky trays, and her favorite color was purple. She was an animallover, and will be reunited in heaven with her miniature schnauzer, Chloe. Sheloved playing games such as Rummy, Trouble, Criminal Case, Family Feud, and Candy Crush. She also loved celebrating the holidays and she decorated her baywindow, beautifully. She loved shopping, watching tv, reading, and dining out. Shewas generous, caring, trustworthy, honest, and she would go without to makesure others had what they needed. She loved to laugh and to make others happy,and she was often found with a smile on her face. She was an amazing daughter,sister, wife, mother, and friend. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 5th, from7-9pm. It will take place at the Oakland Memorial Home located at 330 RamapoValley Road, in Oakland, New Jersey. The funeral will be private.
