Steskel, Caroline R. (nee Haemer) passed away on February 2, 2014 she was 82 years old. Caroline grew up in Glendale Queens and attended Mills College and moved to Oakland in 1959. She was the wife of the late Dr. Henry Steskel. Caroline is survived by her daughters Kristen and her husband Cesar Rios and granddaughter Anna, Erika and her husband Tim McFadden and their children Matthew and Ella. Grandsons Stephen and Erik Hill sons of her late daughter Heidi Steskel Hill. Visiting will be on Friday February 7, 2014 from 4-7 PM at the Oakland Memorial Home 330 Ramapo Valley Road (Rt 202) Oakland, NJ. Funeral service on Saturday 9:30 am at the Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church 228 Ramapo Valley Road Oakland, NJ. Followed by a private burial at the Lutheran Cemetery Middle Village Queens, NY.
