Barbara Ann Russo nee Ebhardt, age 81, passed away October 22, 2018 peacefully with family by her side. Barbara was born 1937 in Saddle Brook, NJ to George and Isabel Ebhardt. She attended Hackensack High School. Barbara raised her three children in Wyckoff, New Jersey and enjoyed summers on Erskine Lake in Ringwood, NJ. Barbara was a fabulous cook and enjoyed crafting. After her children were grown she enjoyed spending summers at her shore home in Point Pleasant, NJ. Barbara loved to go to her grandchildren's sports events & school concerts. Her true passion was travel and she was fortunate enough to visit many places all over Europe with her loving companion Dan Oliver. Barbara recently resided at Cedar Crest Retirement Community in Pompton Plains, NJ and was cared for by her family. Barbara is predeceased by her parents, George and Isabel Ebhardt, her brother George Ebhardt and sister-in-law Linda, and her loving life partner, Dan Oliver. She is survived by her sons, Thomas "Chopper" and his fiancé Ingrid of Oakland, NJ, Gene and his wife Deborah and her adored grandchildren Brandon & Alyssa of Mahwah, NJ, daughter Lisa of Hawthorne, NJ., and her nephew and niece, Christopher and Rebecca. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, October 25th from 4 - 8 PM at Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Road Oakland, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 26th at 10 AM at St. Paul's Church, Ramsey, NJ. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
