Arthur G. Kriss of Oakland NJ, originally of Union, passed away peacefully on Thursday,
February 26, 2026.
Arthur was born on January 9, 1947 to Eleanor (Feldman) and Joseph Kriss. Arthur served in
the US Army during the Vietnam War and was an electronic engineer for Kearfott Guidance and
Navigation for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Rita (Altmann) Kriss, his brother Alan Kriss, his three children
Kathleen, Jason and Timothy, his two daughter in laws Kelly and Leslie, son in law Frank, his
three grandchildren Morgan Ourelio, William Ourelio, and Casey Kriss who will cherish his
memory.
Visitation will be held at Oakland Memorial Home in Oakland, NJ. on Monday, March 2, 2026
from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at Oakland Memorial Home at 12 noon. Burial will
follow at Mary Rest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ.
