Arlene Catherine Drury (Nee Sullivan), beloved Aunt Arlene, was born February 22, 1946, to the late John and Catherine Sullivan (Nee Englehardt). She passed away on May 9, 2022, in Ridgewood NJ at the age of 76. Arlene's career started in 1964 as an administrative assistant at Joslyn. She then went on to work at Givaudan Corp in the marketing research department. A few years later she changed careers and began working at Don Rohr's as the nursery manager. Then in 1999/2000 Arlene went to work as the office manager at Somer's landscaping alongside her loving husband Bill. Arlene's pride and joy were her many nieces and nephews. She was constantly spoiling them, and her generosity never went unnoticed. Arlene was always the life of the party and was often found entertaining family and friends around the pool. Second to her love for friends and family, was her love for Afghan hounds. She spent many years breeding and preparing them for the show ring. Arlene is preceded in death by her loving husband William Drury, her brother Timothy F. Sullivan, niece Kathleen Maurer and nephew Timothy J. Sullivan. She is survived by her brother Michael Sullivan and wife Janice of Mahwah, sister-in- law Karen Sullivan of Bath, PA, brother-in-law Richard Drury and wife Linda of Waldwick, sister-in-law Mary McCrone and husband Peter of Demarest, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Arlene was a loving wife, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, Godmother, and friend. She was one of a kind and had the most infectious smile. Known for her sense of humor, she always knew how to make you laugh. Arlene was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
