Anne Kelly

Anne Elizabeth Kelly passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 12:50pm at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Anne was born in Hackensack, NJ, on August 24, 1952, and resided in Oakland for 37 years.

As an active member of the community, Anne joined the Oakland Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary in 2010 and served as their President from 2017-2022. She was a devout Catholic and sang in the choir at her church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help. She adored her home where she enjoyed her time gardening, cooking, and fixing things around the house.

She was a lifelong NY Yankees fan and her hobbies included taking walks and exercising around town, bowling, and fishing in LBI with her friends.

Anne is survived by her four children - George, Charles, Elizabeth, and Brian; her daughters-in-law, Amanda, Ashley, and Valerie; five grandchildren, Mattigan, Easton, Tessa, Colton, and Ryan; and siblings; Matthew and Linda.

Her children were her greatest joy, and she dedicated her life to supporting, nurturing, and guiding them with unwavering love and strength.

Known for her kindness, warmth, and quiet resilience, Anne touched the lives of all who knew her. She had a gentle spirit, a compassionate heart, and a way of making those around her feel cared for and understood. Her presence brought comfort, and her memory will remain a lasting source of love and inspiration.

Friends are invited to Oakland Memorial Home for visitation on Monday, January 19, 2026 from 4pm to 7pm. A funeral mass will begin on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 10am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Oakland.
