Van Wert, Andrea White 66, of Oakland New Jersey, passed away May 23. Mrs. Van Wert, a former second grade teacher at George Washington School, Mahwah, NJ was an alumnus of the Mary Lewis Academy in Jamaica, NY and Nazareth College of Rochester. She is survived by her husband I. Gregg Van Wert, her daughter Cynthia and her husband Jason Jensen; her brother George White and his wife Mary Ann; her niece Jennifer White; and nephews Brian Callahan, Brian White and his wife Casey, and a great nephew Christian. Visitation will be Thursday, May 28, at the Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Road in Oakland, NJ from 4-8 pm. A funeral mass is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 29, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Oakland NJ. Burial to follow at the Christ the King Cemetery Franklin Lakes, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) Andrea Van Wert Designated Capital Improvement Fund, 25 Purdue Avenue, Oakland, NJ 07436.
