Mikulka, Joseph, R. age 98 of Saddle Brook, NJ on Tuesday July 21, 2015 beloved husband of 67 years of Mary (nee Pryslak) Mikulka loving father of Nancy A. and her husband Bradford R. Sr. Waudby of Oakland, NJ, Cherished grandfather of Bradford R Jr and his wife Erica Waudby and Ashley M. Waudby. Most adoring great grandfather of Joseph Jonathan (JJ) Waudby. He is pre-deceased by two brothers Louis and John Mikulka and two sisters Olga Chapkovich and Helen Reed. A US Army veteran of WWII he served as a T/5 Radar Operator. Before retiring in 1983 Joe worked as a warehouse man for the Ford Motor Co. in Teterboro, NJ for 11 years previous to that he worked as a wire drawer for the Washburn Wire Mill in New York City for 36 years. He was a member of the Saddle Brook Golden Ages Club the Saddle Brook American Legion Post # 147 and the retirees club of Ford Motor Co. Joe was a long time parishioner of St. Leo's R.C. Church in Elmwood Park, NJ Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 25, 2015 9:45 Am from the Oakland Memorial Home 330 Ramapo Valley Road Oakland, NJ followed by a 11 AM Funeral Liturgy at St. Mary's RC Church 17 Pompton Avenue Pompton Lakes, NJ. Burial will follow at the Ponds Cemetery, Oakland, NJ Family and friends may visit the Funeral Home on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
